- Several opposition Members of Parliament (MPs) asked how a new work pass for top talents will benefit Singaporeans
- They also questioned how the Government will track whether these pass holders will transfer their skills and expertise to Singaporeans
- Manpower Minister Tan See Leng said that the new work pass is about growing new economic areas that will give Singaporeans more opportunities
- People in Singapore should also be willing to go on international stints and pick up new skills, Dr Tan said
